MAGSEALED

The smoothness of the oil maintains a rotational feeling with almost zero friction while casting, searching, and reeling.
The fact is that inside the rotor, which is constantly turning and rotating with the handle constantly turned, the oil film made of “Mag Oil” continues to protect against seawater and sand from entering the inside of the engine.

Digigear 2
Daiwa’s unique digital design technology “Digigear” has evolved even further.
In order to realize the ideal tooth surface derived from digital analysis,

The drive gear is wrapped with a special process, and the pinion gear and drive gear are optimally balanced to improve durability.

Quick Drag
The drag function allows you to loosen or tighten the drag by turning the drag knob about once.
For example, when using the long-distance rod fishing method, tightening the drag can cause the rod or reel to be pulled into the water.
On the other hand, if you leave the drag loose, it takes time to engage (tighten the drag) when the fish is hooked, and it can even come off. With the quick drag, you can loosen the drag until the fish is hooked, and then tighten the drag quickly after it is hooked, so there is no delay before engaging.
